what is an evaporative system?

Evaporative air conditioning is a cooling only system

It works by drawing in fresh air that passes over wet pads, then ducting in the roof space disperses the air, cooling and moisturising your home

Evaporative systems work by air movement, so windows and doors

should be kept open to allow air flow. The air in your home is replaced

every 2-3 minutes.

The most impressive feature of evaporative air conditioning compared

to refrigerated systems is the price. Even the biggest evaporative units are a fraction of the price of a comparable refrigerated unit. But the big savings come with the running costs – the largest residential evaporative air conditioning unit uses less power than a standard refrigerated wall unit that cools just your living room.

No more of the “it’s not hot enough to turn on the air-con”

– with evaporative air conditioning you can run the unit

24 hours a day for around the cost of running a

refrigerated unit for just one hour!
